Virtually all
of CLF's Bible studies are in areas where we are ministering to hungry
children or have a preschool learning center among the urban poor.
The child care staff and the learning center teachers hold these Bible
studies in the homes of the parents, under trees in an open area,
in community centers, basketball courts, etc. These are held for adults,
children and youth, usually weekly.
We use Bible study
materials and Gospels of John in the Tagalog dialect in Metro Manila.
In other parts of the country, the local dialects are used.
Many of our foreign
visitors share in these Bible studies - a testimony, songs, skits, or
Bible teaching.
Often, Bible studies
lead to establishing a church in the neighborhood (see Church
Planting).
